Broadcaster and writer Edith Bowman has been working in TV and radio nearly 20 years. A long time Rogue Matilda fan-girl, her knowledge and passion for music and film stem from being a genuine fan. Currently, she hosts the Virgin Radio UK breakfast show, as well as being Music Editor for ELLE magazine, but in the past she has worked for BBC Radio 1, 2 + 6 and she's always a firm favourite for the Glastonbury coverage on TV. As lovely in person as she sounds on air, we caught up with Edith at her cinema of choice, the Everyman in Kings Cross, to shoot her in her favourite Rogues.

What do you love most about your job?
Oh so much of it. Every project is different and every interview I do is a different experience. My podcast, Soundtracking is my pride and joy so I am so proud of the reputation that has received. Getting to talk to creatives about film and music on a weekly basis is a dream come true.
Where's your favourite hangout?
Right now that’s quite hard as home is the place we have to spend most time in. But I love cinemas, huge fan of the Everyman chain of cinemas as they are real social spaces too. But right now, anywhere I can spend time with friends and people I love is a real treat.
What's top of your playlist right now?
There is a new Smith & Burrows record coming in February and i’ve had a sneak peak, it’s pretty amazing. The new Bruce Springsteen record is very special, I did a load of remote stuff with him last week and what an honour that was. Then the new Clint Mansell score for Rebecca, the new Ben Wheatley film is STUNNING.
What's your most loved piece in your wardrobe?
Apart from My Rogue Ziggy boots, I’d say my band t-shirts. I almost always buy a t when I go to gigs. As i’m very priviledged to get free tickets a lot of the time, it’s my way of giving back. Right now, not being able to go to gigs and watch live music, they make me smile as they remind me of good times.
How many shoes do you own?
Too many! My husband refers to it as Shoe-mageddon… But you can never have enough.
What do your Rogues say about you?
I'm fun and ready for anything.
