What do you love most about your job?
I love winning a new job and really make the space work for a client - bringing it to life with colour and pattern. We manage a project from concept through to completion and they often stretch over 2-3 years so the installation phase, when we see all our designs turning into reality, is super exciting. We try to keep a client away for the last ten days so we can have a big reveal moment and its an amazing high walking them around their home having guided them on their journey in realising its potential.
Where's your favourite hangout in London?
Home! And I love that London is constantly changing - new places spring up the whole time but 5 Hertford Street is quintessentially English and timelessly comfortable and I love the people watching there! And Petersham nurseries is a weekend fave.
What's top of your playlist right now?
We listen to music at work and oscillate wildly between calm and crazy. I have a bad habit of thrashing songs and am currently obsessed by Nick Mulvey’s Fever to The Form – played very loudly and mostly late at night, working to deadlines. I’m also going through a retro fix with the Orbs Little Fluffy Clouds and Baz Luhrmann’s Wear Sunscrean……tunes that take me back and age me!!!
What's your most loved piece in your wardrobe?
An amazing Cream Issa boiled wool coat with wide flared sleeves and a beautifully design toggle which fastens at the neck – it makes me feel dressy even if I'm wearing active wear underneath! My husband calls it my psychiatrists coat...
How many pairs of shoes do you own?
Too many to count – its my guilty pleasure.
What do your Rogues say about you?
My skittles are the perfect wear-to-everything shoes – I think they say get on with it!
