What do you love most about your job?

That I’m in control of what projects I get to work on and insist that they must spark me with joy. I’ve been my own boss for 14 years and I’m only just working out that my job doesn’t have to take over my life. It's really empowering taking the afternoon to have your lashes done.

Where's your favourite hangout?

Right now it’s probably my hallway. We moved into this house 3 years ago and it was so beige and bleugh. Getting my favourite colours up on the walls has been crucial to making it feel like home. This is my happy place and I now have no motivation to leave the house!

What's top of your playlist right now?

I’ve become a podcast geek! Since launching my own podcast, called The Great Indoors recently, I now love to listen to podcasts whenever I have a long journey. Favourites include The High Low, Desert Island Discs, How to Own The Room, Happy Place and This Might Get Weird.

What's your most loved piece in your wardrobe?

I want to say my yoga pants, because they are so comfy (!) or my collection of cashmere sweaters; my neon pink one is my total fave. What I love about clothes is the powerful way they can completely change your mood and how you feel about yourself. I recently went to an event dressed in satin giant spot wide leg trousers with matching blazer and I felt fabulous!

How many pairs of shoes do you own?

I don’t want to count! However I recently took all my high heels and pointy shoes to the charity shop. The past couple of years they have just become unbearable to wear so I’m all about finding a good flat now. That’s why I have a particular love of Rogue Matilda, especially if they have a little platform, as they look so cool with long trousers or a midi skirt.

What do your Rogues say about you?

I love to look fabulous but won’t stand for blisters.
